Natural finishes
Wax is a great option for a lustrous finish that will age gracefully. Our museum grade micro crystalline wax adds a fine protective layer over patinas. This will prevent marking and wear, but let the brass age naturally. Wax can easily be re-applied at desired intervals for maintenance and to restore the natural brass glow.
Wax can be used over natural brass, raw bronze, dark bronze, brushed copper and english brass.
Raw Brass
Raw Brass is a choice that lets the brass decide how it ages. We supply clean brushed or textured brass with no finish, depending on usage and location, the plates will dull naturally, from bright brass down to a settled natural colour. Wax can be used at any point for long term maintenance if desired.
Nano finish
A crystal clear coating that won’t hide the natural beauty of brass. Our incredibly fine finish, available in satin or gloss. Long term protection from corrosion, oxidisation and tarnish. Extremely durable, non fading and scratch resistant. Will not chip, crack or peel. Resistant to chemicals, salt and chlorine air. A finish so fine it is practically invisible.
2K Laquer
A catalysed spray finish as used in the automotive industry. Very suitable for satin/matt applications. A very hard wearing crystal clear coating, heat cured for a long lasting and super smooth result.
Paint finish
We offer our brass plates in a heat cured 2k paint finish. We can match to colour samples or RAL codes in gloss satin or matt finishes.
This option is hard wearing and washable, the brass substrate guarantees lasting quality.
Toggles can also be finished in the same way, either to match or contrast, the options to make your plates unique are endless.
Patinas
Our range of patinas offer a carefully curated range of traditional finishes, suitable for all our finishing options. Patinas are applied through chemical oxidisation which harnesses the metal’s natural ageing process to achieve a subtle and genuine colourisation.
Brushed brass
Natural brass hand finished to perfection with a fine and even surface grain.
Dark bronze
heavily aged/darkened patina appears blue black through to dark browns. A very versatile and classic finish, looks equally at home in matt, satin or gloss. Also suitable for wax finishing allowing the depth to develop and settle over time. Looks very effective with contrasting colour fill engravings.
Tumbled dark copper
A matt finish with even granular texturing, appears as a rich dark copper/warm brown finish. One of our favourites, understated and clean for the modern interior.
Brushed copper
A generous copper coating hand finished with a fine surface grain. Suitable for use raw or with all finishes.
English brass
Hand finished to give a natural aged look, this is another classic finish that is very versatile. Used as a raw finish this helps to establish a light patina from the start, giving the ageing process a basis to work from. When waxed is applied as a protective finish this results in a more stable slower ageing process with added protection and lustre.
Dark copper
Similar to Dark bronze but with warmer copper undertones. Especially effective with our range of textured finishes that allows the copper tone highlights to be picked out from the dark background.

Inspired by the bronze foundry our unique range of textured finishes are designed to enhance the beauty of your plate style. Each plate possesses a unique finish created in house which evokes the natural living surface of a bronze sculpture.

This a very versatile and creative process, we are happy to work with you to achieve the finish you require to make your plates unique to you.
Engraving
Our engraving service adds a functional detail that is high quality and pin sharp. Choose any colour fill make your lettering pop or keep it natural. colours can be matched to a sample or RAL code.

Canvas
A fine woven pattern that works brilliantly with our English brass finish. A direct texture of fine artists canvas.
Raw bronze texture 1
A distressed surface that catches highlights beautifully and has a natural living surface. Suitable for all our finishes.
Raw bronze texture 2
A distressed surface with a difference, light spotting and graining adds eye catching surface interest. Suitable for all our finishes. Recommended dark copper, English brass and dark bronze.
